God comfort you in your sorrow, I remember Ruby so well for playing organ at Salem. She certainly had a full life and can see her as blessed of the Lord in eternity. I will have a first great grandchild in March and will never Match Ruby`s 17, but children are all very special to me. My Prayers are with you.

I was one of the kids Ruby taught to play piano. She was an amazing teacher and didn't let you get away with much. She graded our "homework" when we'd meet and if you played flawlessly it was an A+, but a single note wrong would get you an A-, there were no A's. I still laugh about it, but what's interesting is not only did she teach me how to read music but she taught me to do the absolute best in everything. God gained a great piano player.

I just read this this morning. I took piano lessons for several years from Ruby. I have so many wonderful memories playing at the Dorchester, or Ruby playing that accordion behind me while I played all of those polkas on the organ while working my way around all of those pedals! I'm in my 40's now and the best gift Ruby gave me was learning to play the old hymns. I still have my Gospel hymn book today and I'll never forget Ruby singing along as I played. Ruby was an inspiration and I'm sure she's missed, but I'm so thankful she's with her Father in heaven.

My prayers to the family. She was such a special lady and lived a very productive Christian life. I am sure she will have a No 1 spot in our Lord's Music Dept!
