Lois, I am sorry I was unable to go to the funeral of Randy, I watch my Grand daughters in the summer. My thoughts and prayers were with you though as you traveled this difficult journey of laying Randy to his eternal rest. It sounds like he had a hard time of it the past few years so at least we can be thankful that his suffering is now done. I din't know him very well but it sounds like he was a good man. Married 50 years it will be hard to be alone I am sure but you do have family and friends. I wish we could see more of all of our cousins but we just don't in this busy world we live in. I still sometimes think about when we were growing up on the farm and getting together, I loved your Mom she was the coolest lady. I am sure she was there to welcome Randy home. As I sit here in Arizona, I think of you dear sister and wish I could take away some of the pain that you and everyone are going through. I know it was rough the last few years to see Randy hurting and hating being ill, but I also know that there were a lot of moments that you laughed together, saw him smile and that he did enjoy his day. May you remember those now and be thankful there were so many. 50 years together was a long and wonderful trip, and though you will now travel the path alone may you find comfort in all those days filled with sunshine and love.
