Our sincerest sympathy to you and your family. We could not remember our years at St. Joes without thinking of Mrs. Pape. The first thing my kids said when they heard was "I never would have learned how to outline without Mrs. Pape" and how it helped them in college. We had planned on attending the visitation but are in Madison as Calle had her 2nd child.  We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I know Pat from her giving a helping hand at the Sturgeon Bay Kiwanis fish Fry which Dave and I are members.  She was a pleasant and kind person always greeting me with a smile.  I offer my prayers and condolences to her family.

Dear Dave,
What a gift you gave to Pat in caring for her during this time of her illness.  You can be proud and know she was grateful.  My sympathy to you and your family.

Sending love with regrets for not being able to attend the wake, funeral, and special experience at the church.     Cousin Nancy Em, and Max, my doggy, and Pierre' our canary.  God Be With you.

Please accept our family prayers and condolences.  Pat's impact on education in our community of Sturgeon Bay reaches to many former students, their children, and beyond.  Saint Joseph School and other schools Pat substitute taught at are definitely better due to her willingness to share her teaching talents - including a love for children.

Though we are on our way to Bismarck, ND this week - the Taylor family takes with us a lasting impact from Pat and her family.  Godspeed!

Dear Dave & Family,

Ed and I were so sorry to learn that Pat has passed away. Ed has known Pat since he was her classmate at St. Joseph Catholic School. I met Pat in high school. Pat was a sweet and faithful friend and it was so lovely to become reacquainted with her with our "59" lunches.

Sincerely,
JUDIE & Ed Holladay

Dear Dave and family,
As you know I ministered with Pat for five years at St. Joseph School and found her to be an amazing teacher who loved her students and was their great advocate cheerleader in matters that were difficult for young people.
She especially took under her wing pupils who had problems of every kind.  Her patience was extraordinary and she "stuck" with the student until there was a resolution.  Please remember all the happy days.  May Pat  be with the living God.  May she be with the eternal God.

Pat was always a second mom to me.  She took me in and cared for me and I always felt like I was really a part of her family.  I so appreciate that, especially during those years that I attended Holy Name Seminary with Steve and Dan.  God Bless you Patricia.  You were and always will be a tough, loving, funny, and faithful servant of Christ.  You and Dave raised a great family and I'm very blessed to have been in your presence.

Dear Pape and Boes Family,
Although we did not know Patty personally, we do know Jim and Jody Boes and Dan and Diane well.  Over the years we have always heard glowing comments about Patty's teaching abilities.  Everyone loved Patty!  We are so sorry that she had to endure the suffering from cancer.
Take solace knowing that she is no longer in pain and is sitting at the right hand of our Father, Jesus Christ.
Know also that you will be united with her as is the promise we believe.

She was in a league of her own as a teacher but first and foremost the one who had our back and encouraged us to be the best we could be.  I am so very blessed to say that she was my teacher at St. Josephs. 8th grade graduating class of 1968.  Rest in peace Mrs Pape.
