Tom “Bergy” Bergsland, 53, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home on October 19, 2015, after a brief battle with cancer.  He was born on September 16, 1962, in Sturgeon Bay to George and Kathleen (Karas) Bergsland.  Tom graduated from Southern Door High School in 1981 and attended technical college for HVAC.  He worked for Tri County Heating and Cooling for over 20 years.

Tom enjoyed riding his Harley, snowmobiling, and camping.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include Vicki Bergsland and children, Levi (Alex) and Teal, Casco; mother, Kathy Bergsland, Sturgeon Bay; one sister, Chris (Mike) Keyser, Sturgeon Bay; and one brother, Larry Bergsland, Sturgeon Bay; grandchildren, Talon, Mia, Nico, and Aubrie; nieces and nephews, Kelly, Melissa, Molly (Aaron), Tony, and Kayden.  He was preceded in death by his father and one sister Linda Bergsland.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Hainesville Lutheran Church.  Burial will be in Hainesville Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and at the church on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
