Post #9290, Ridges Sanctuary, President of Vicariate VII of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Woman, and Regent of Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She loved to garden and was superintendent of flowers and house plants at the Door County Fair for 15 years.  Marian was also a member of the Peninsula Planters Garden Club and the Master Gardeners Club.

Survivors include three children: Mark (Tammy) Schultz, Green Bay; Lisa (Mark) Poffenberger, Earlham, IA; Rosanne (Paul) Reinhold, Greenleaf; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one brother, Harvey (Barb) Malzahn, Fish Creek.  She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister, Mildred (Albert) Hachey.
