Jeanne Tassoul, 80, of Brussels, passed away on July 2, 2016 at Anna’s House in Sturgeon Bay.  She was born Feb. 29, 1936 in the Town of Union to Albert and Rose (Draize) Lampereur.  On July 10, 1954 she married Robert F. Tassoul in Namur.  He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1994.

Jeanne and her husband farmed in the town of Union for many years.  She loved baking and will be remembered for her Belgian pies.  Jeanne was a very social person who enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include 3 sons, Brad (Tina), Randall (Randi), and Dean (Kelly), all of Brussels; 8 grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Ashley, Derek, Alexander, Matthew (Kristin), Markus (Ashley), Heather (David), and Nicole (Troy); 8 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Gloria Vandermeuse.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother James.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Crossroads Church in Sturgeon Bay (3887 Old Highway Rd.) with the Rev. Brian Mitoraj officiating.  Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
