Uncle Jerry will always hold a special place in our hearts! It was always so much fun to visit with him. He was quite a jokester. When I was little, he told me there was a tiger in his barn and I believed him! I wouldn't go in it for years after that. (I'm quite sure I saw it at one point!) His big hugs and belly laughs will certainly be missed. Sending thoughts and prayers to all of you at this sad time.

Our sympathy to all of you. Geral was a special person to us and many. We first met Gerald at my brothers and sister-in-laws (Miles and Barb Zastrow) and enjoyed his humor and friendly nature. Years spent at Camp Luther will never be forgotten. I know Barb misses him dearly she appreciated all his help through the years. Ben and Julie thought of him not as just a friend but like a grandfather. Not sure we will make it to pay our respects, as a with the church service and grandchildren here Thursday night and Friday.
