William "Bill" Nuhs Obituary
William “Bill” Nuhs, 70, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away suddenly on Oct. 28, 2025. He was born May 27, 1955, in Green Bay to William and Agnella (Vogel) Nuhs. On June 8, 1974, he married Mary Jane Geitner at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood.
Bill was the lead painter at Palmer Johnsons in Sturgeon Bay for over 10 years. He had a love for all old cars and antiques. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his dad’s cottage in Little Sturgeon. He also enjoyed all the “get togethers” at the Red Room with all his buddies on Friday nights. Bill was the kind of guy who would bend over backwards for anyone who needed anything.
Survivors include his wife, 2 children, Alisa Nuhs of North Carolina; and Arick (fiancé Crystal) Nuhs of Little Sturgeon; brother-in-law, Ron Geitner, Janesville, WI; sister-in-law, Karen (Jim) DuQuaine, Nasewaupee. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Donna Geitner.
A celebration of life will be held some time in 2026. Forbes Funeral Home & Cremations is serving the family. Online condolences may be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com
