Roger Quam Obituary

Roger Quam, 74, of Oshkosh, passed away at his home on January 4, 2020. He was born on May 22, 1945, in Sturgeon Bay to Lloyd and Frieda (Schmidtke) Quam. Roger graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School and then worked at Oshkosh Corporation for over 30 years.

Roger liked to talk on the phone and visit with friends and family. He also enjoyed playing cards, fishing, traveling to Florida, Oklahoma and Branson, Missouri. Roger was always busy doing something.

He is survived by one brother, Donald (Carlye) Quam, Waukesha; two sisters, Shirley (Mark) Vandermissen, Luxemburg; Linda (Wayne) Block, Pickerel Lake; three sisters-in-law, Judy Quam, Watertown; Bev Quam, Oklahoma; and Marianne Quam, Sturgeon Bay; nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Sylvester, Charlie, and Carlton Quam; one niece, Mary Quam; two nephews-in-law, Scott Feltes and Gregg Umentum.

Funeral services will be held at a later date this spring.
