Robert Vogel

Robert Vogel, 60, of Sturgeon Bay passed away suddenly at home on Sept. 18, 2021.  He was born June 18, 1961 in Door County to Ervin and Christine (Cherney) Vogel.

Robert graduated from Southern Door High School and farmed with his parents most of his life.  Farming was his life.  He also treasured the relationship he had with his best friend and cat Oliver.

On Nov. 11, 1989 he married Mary Lou Vanderlin at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood.  She survives as do two children, Kayla Vogel of New Brighton, MN and Joe Vogel of Fond du Lac, WI; 4 brothers, Tony (Mary) of Brussels, John of Brussels, Mike (Peggy) of Green Bay, and Tom (significant other Della); nieces and nephews.

A family gathering will take place sometime in the future to celebrate his life.  Forbes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
