Robert M. "Bob" Gustafson Obituary

Robert Michael “Bob” Gustafson, 74, of Little Sturgeon, passed away on October 14, 2024, at Door County Medical Center.  He was born on April 13, 1950, in Sturgeon Bay to Vernon and Phyllis (Braun) Gustafson.  Bob was in the U.S. Marines and served during Vietnam.  He was very proud to be a Marine.


Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching football, NASCAR especially, Dale Earnhardt, and finishing Sudoku puzzles.  He was a longtime member of the Gardner Gun Club.  Bob loved to spend time in Arizona with his family in the winters, and socializing with his friends in Little Sturgeon.  He always left an impression on everyone he met.


Survivors include two daughters, Kaili (Mark) Barone, Scottsdale, AZ; Shannon (Robert) Smith, Phoenix, AZ; one son, Travis Gustafson, Little Sturgeon; four grandchildren, Avery, Grant, Harper, Hilton, and “one on the way”; three sisters, Vicky (Gary) Soukup, Egg Harbor; Char Broekman, Amberg, WI; and Brenda Gustafson, Amberg, WI; one sister-in-law, Lynne Gustafson, Sturgeon Bay; and many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry and Rick Gustafson; one sister, Rose Gustafson; and a nephew, John Soukup.


A memorial service will be held at a later date.
