Richard E. Lieske

Richard “Red” Lieske, 69, of De Pere, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on October 18, 2023.  He was born on April 1, 1954, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Floyd and Roseann (Garrison) Lieske.

Richard had a passion for golfing, fishing, camping, and pitching in several softball leagues. He worked in the grocery business for 25 years- most of it as a manager at Roy’s Red Owl, Save A’ Buck, and Econo Foods.

Survivors include his five children Amanda (Eric) Denny, Seymour; Elizabeth (Kevin) Franklin, Sturgeon Bay; Richard (Patti) Lieske, Green Bay; Patricia Lieske, Sturgeon Bay, and Thomas (Sasha) Lieske, Green Bay; as well as his three brothers Floyd (Gail) Lieske, Gerald Olson, and George Olson; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2023 at Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay.
