Reginald "Reg" Robillard
July 5, 1944 ~ October 6, 2023 (age 79) 79 Years Old
Reginald “Reg” Robillard, 79, Brussels passed away on October 6, 2023. He was born July 5, 1944, to Herb and Doris Robillard. He graduated from Brussels High School in 1962 and married the love of his life, Nancy Watters, on September 23rd 1967.
Reg was an avid outdoorsman, taxidermist, and Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He enjoyed hunting, tinkering, collecting things, and writing well-detailed instructions on most items with a sharpie. He was the first to introduce wild turkeys to the Door County area, and was very proud of his orchard, Sir Reginald’s Sweet Cherry Orchard that he tended to for over 20 years. He was an incredibly talented marine draftsman for over 50 years. He served in the National Guard for 6 years. He will be remembered for being unfailingly kind, creative, and loving.
Reg will be missed by his wife, Nancy; 2 children Jody (Jodi) Robillard, Brussels; Kari (Eric) Carper, Sturgeon Bay; 4 Grandchildren, Morgan, Cameron, Reece, and Reggi; 4 Great- grandchildren, Greyson, Zoey, Danica, Marissa; brother, Roderick (Vern) Robillard, Brussels; and sister-in-law, Sharon Robillard, Brussels.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Herb and Doris Robillard; his brother, Clyde; grandson Will; and his parents-in-law, John and Rosemary Watters.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Salem Lutheran Church with Rev. Tod Vertz officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Forbes Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Wednesday.
