Raymond C. Axelson

Ray Axelson, 83, of Egg Harbor moved peacefully into eternal life on November 30, 2021.  Born in Chicago on July 20, 1938, Ray graduated with a marketing degree from Northern Illinois University, served in the Air Force Reserve, and enjoyed a successful career in medical equipment sales.

In 1960, he married Barbara Kelly and they honeymooned in Ephraim.  They were blessed with three children, Stephen (Athena), Kevin, and Elizabeth (Ron Neumuller); and grandchildren.  In 2004, they retired to Egg Harbor.  Ray loved to golf, garden, and meet new people.  He enjoyed the congregation of Ephraim Moravian Church.  He will be sorely missed.  Thanks to Unity Hospice for their care. 

Funeral service will be held at Ephraim Moravian Church (9970 Moravia Street, Ephraim, WI 54211) on Saturday, December 18th at 2 p.m., burial will be private. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
