Patrick F. McInerney

Patrick McInerney, 62, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023, at his home in Sturgeon Bay, WI.  Patrick was born in Chicago on June 10, 1960, to parents James and Eleanore. He attended Brother Rice High School and later graduated from the UIC with a degree in computer science.  Patrick married Mary Ann in 1988, and they were together for 35 years. They had three children, Quinn, Clare and Jimmy, whom he adored and was so proud of. Patrick was a dedicated husband and the best father anyone could want.
 

In his free time, Patrick loved to spend time with his family, whether that was a movie night, game night, or a local adventure in Door County. He never missed a sporting event, even traveling coast to coast one summer to watch baseball. During the summer, he would venture across the street and cool off in Lake Michigan. Patrick was a man of many skills, which included wood-working, appliance fixing, sailing, boating, etc. His favorite place in the world was at home, surrounded by family, eating pizza and watching a movie.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his children, Quinn (Katia), Clare, and Jimmy (Madi); his sister, Cathy (Terrence) Nugent; special friends, Susan Nugent and Margaret Bayer. Patrick will be remembered as a kind, generous, and loyal person who always put his family first.  A private service will be held by the family.  Patrick will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will always cherish his memory. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
