Patricia Ann Eckert

Patricia Ann Eckert, 79, of Brussels, passed away on November 5, 2023, at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay.  She was born November 14, 1943, in Rosiere to William and Mary (Herison) Theis.  On July 9, 1966, she married William Eckert in Lincoln, he preceded her in death on January 8, 2020.

Patricia and her husband owned and operated an antique shop business in Door County for over 50 years.   In her earlier years, she cleaned homes and worked at The Plumbers in Algoma.  Patricia enjoyed bird watching, playing board games, making puzzles, flower gardening, sewing, crocheting, taking day trips in northern Door County with her husband, and playing cards, especially with her sisters.  Most of all, she treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include three children, Carol Eckert, Sturgeon Bay; John Eckert, Green Bay; James (Michelle) Eckert, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Zac (Brianna) Eckert, Nic Eckert, Luke Johnson, and Christine Eckert; three sisters, Karen Moore, Kathryn (Larry) Berkovitz, Diane (Rick) Gordon; in-laws, Edward (Chris) Eckert, and Gerry Eckert. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother Bobby (Valerie) Theis; sister, Jeanette (Eugene) Sperber; in-laws Wally Eckert, Betty (Armond) Tipler, and Mary Ann Wendt.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels.  Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass. Burial will be at Bayside Cemetery.  Forbes Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
