Michael W. Krueger, 65, of Forestville, passed away at home on Jan. 17, 2022.  He was born Oct. 9, 1956, at a Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Florida to Edward and Carol (Olson) Krueger.  On June 7, 2003, he married Carol Philipp at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay.

Michael worked at Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay for 42 years.  After he retired, he worked with his son at Lawn and Landscape Specialists.  Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing, food, and playing sheepshead with his buddies.  He also enjoyed following the Packers, Brewers and Bucks.  Michael loved spending time at his 20 acres of land with his companion Dakota and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Survivors include his wife Carol, 3 children, Jason Krueger (Krista), Sturgeon Bay, Julie (Cory) Cmeyla, Forestville, and Connie (Cheryl) Neuzil, Algoma; 6 grandchildren, Kayla (Drew), Robyn (Jeremy), Zachary, Tyler, Claire, and Brooklyn; 3 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kinley, and Lincoln; his parents, Ed and Carol Krueger; 3 brothers, Mark (Jean), Rick (Lily) and Randy (Karen); nieces, nephews, and the Pine Lake Gang.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, 2 stepchildren, Jessica and Megan,  a great-grandson, Gabriel; and his bird dog Copper

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay.  Burial will be in the Forestville Town Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  A prayer service is scheduled at 7:00 pm that evening.  Visitation will continue at 10:00 a.m. on Friday until the time of services.  On-line condolences may be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com
