Lucy Mary Jauquet, 105, formerly of Brussels, passed away at Anna’s Health Care in New Franken on Feb. 8, 2022. She was born Aug. 12, 1916, in Duvall to Jule and Mary (Jeanquart) Marchant.
In 1936, she married John Jauquet, he preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1997. Lucy was a hard worker and farmed together with her husband for most of their lives. She enjoyed baking bread and Belgium pies
Survivors include 2 sons, Larry (Sharon) Jauquet, Green Bay; Dennis (Barb) Jauquet, Sturgeon Bay; 4 grandchildren, Melissa (Tom) Haack, Sturgeon Bay; Michael (Tammy) Jauquet, Sturgeon Bay; Stacy (Brad) Persson, Green Bay; and Chad (Robyn) Jauquet, Green Bay; 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; in-laws, Alvin and Rena Jauquet, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by 7 siblings, Rose (Louie) Granius, Doris (Clarence) DeWitt, Gladys (Leonard) Bouche, Robert (Gert) Marchant, Willard (Beatrice) Marchant, Lester (Germaine) Marchant, Melvin (Joyce) Marchant; in-laws, George and Verna Jauquet, Francis and Rita Jauquet, Josie and William Destree, Jenny and Roland Delfosse, Ida and James Alsteen, and Florence and Earl VandenHoven.
A private mass will be held at St. Francis & St. Mary’s Parish in Brussels with Rev. Edward Looney officiating. Entombment will be in The Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
