Linda S. Dufek, 71, of Dyckesville, passed away August 20, 2025, while battling ovarian cancer.  She was born on November 14, 1953, in Sheboygan, WI to Elmer and Marjorie (Borth) Schultz.  On February 16, 2022, she married Daniel Dufek in Luxemburg.  Linda was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Luxemburg.

Linda worked in IT at United Airlines and traveled to many countries. She retired and returned to Sheboygan where she enjoyed volunteering on church projects such as quilting, rummage sales and gardening.  She also served as treasurer for her HOA.  She then moved on to an idyllic life with her husband in Dyckesville.  She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Dan; and sister, Wanda (Brian) Drews; along with nephew Joshua (Holly) Prigge, their children Malorie, Markus and Tanner; and nieces, Angela (Nathan) Putz, their children Chloe, Caleb, Ethan and Mason; and Ashley (Tyler) Groat, their children Reid and Violet; four step children, Eric (Kristin) Dufek  and their children, Megan and Julia; Carrie (Craig) Nellis, and their children Clay, Grace, Callie and Clint; Melissa (Michael) Van Ess, and their children Kate, Kiana and Cael;  and Matthew (Michele) Dufek, and their children, Liam and Bentley; and in-laws, Carole (Donald) Otto, Shirley (Neil) Ort and Kathy (Gary) Alberts.  She also survived by many friends and family members, and her beloved dog, Tyffi.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and Dan’s daughter, Katie Dufek. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, at St. John’s Lutheran Church (700 Heritage Rd., Luxemburg, WI 54217) with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating.   Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church.  Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., on Friday in the Elton J. Schulties Memorial Cemetery (3398 Co. Rd. MM, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235).
