LaVerne Lardinois Obituary

LaVerne Anna Lardinois, 95, of Brussels passed away at Sycamore Lodge in Algoma on January 29, 2022.  She was born February 6, 1926, in Luxemburg to William and Margaret (Krielkamp) Paul. 

LaVerne graduated from St. Mary Catholic School in Luxemburg.  She was a long-time resident of Brussels and was a member of St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels.  LaVerne married Elmer Lardinois on June 6, 1946, at Holy Trinity Church in Casco.  He preceded her in death on November 10, 1991.  She enjoyed baking and playing cards with family, grandchildren, and friends.

Survivors include four children, Duane (Mary) Lardinois, Sturgeon Bay; Bonita (Norbert) Jeanquart, Brussels; Mike (friend Mary) Lardinois, Algoma; Mark Lardinois, Brussels; ten grandchildren, Amy (Dennis) VanBramer, Cory (Leslie) Lardinois, Becky (Chad) Ulberg, Michelle (Jim) Charles, Dawn (Ryan) Dalton, Barth (Ashley) Jeanqaurt, Nicholas Jeanquart, Josh Lardinois, Jeremy (Pam) Lardinois, Shauna (Michael) Bosman; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; 1 sister-in-law Darlene Paul, Green Bay; other in-laws, John Lardinois, Marlene Lardinois, Diane and Alvin Counard.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Sylvan (Helen) Paul, Alvin Paul and William Paul Jr.; three sisters, Lucille Sisel, Lillian Hucek and Loraine Lukes; two brothers-in-law, Elmer Sisel, Frank Hucek; other in-laws, Mathilda and Dan Patton, Edward and Linda Lardinois, Esther and Elmer Karnitz, Jean and Ray Guth, Norman “Rusty” and Eileen Lardinois, Muriel and Sylvester Vogel, Donald and Donna Lardinois, Allen Lardinois, and Darlene Lardinois.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022 at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish, Brussels. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m.  until time of services.  A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
