Kathie Burwell, 67, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home on Feb. 5, 2023. She was born July 7, 1955, in Sturgeon Bay to Robert and Lucille (Walther) Kramer. On June 10, 2000, she married Bryan L. Burwell in Sturgeon Bay.
Kathie enjoyed sewing, knitting, camping and watching soap operas. She especially enjoyed spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Bryan; 3 sons, Michael (Kristal) Alger, Sturgeon Bay; Jason Alger, Green Bay; and Andrew (Lana) Alger, Sturgeon Bay; 5 grandchildren, Mackenna, Adrian, Livia, Vincent, and Ryder; 7 siblings, Gail (John) Chadek, Mark (Kim) Kramer, Steve (Pam) Kramer, Paula (Mike) Cline, Bob (Penny) Kramer, Jody (Toby) Andropolis, Karl (Susie) Kramer; in-laws, Robert (Karen) Speiker, Chris Speiker, Derek Speiker, Gary Speiker, Melinda (Nabil) Jalled, and Lovanne Woods; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held at the Forbes Funeral Home on Monday February 13, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be at Bayside Cemetery.
