Julie DiCarlo, 68, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at Cherry Cove on Saturday, April 4, 2026. She was born on Feb. 12, 1958, in Blue Island, IL to Giulio and Mollie (D’Antonio) DiCarlo.
Julie grew up in Blue Island and was a graduate of Mother of Sorrows High School. Her very caring nature led her to become a CNA. She worked for many years at St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island.
Julie was also a childcare provider for her niece and nephew when they were young, and later cared for her aging mother. After retiring to Door County, Julie enjoyed working as a breakfast attendant at the AmericInn in Sturgeon Bay, where she loved visiting with all kinds of people.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Dawn DiCarlo, Sturgeon Bay; niece Danielle (Scott) Pamperin, Green Bay; nephew Dominic (partner Lyka) DiCarlo, Mesa, AZ; cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, April 24, 2026, at Christ the King Episcopal Church in Sturgeon Bay. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday. Forbes Funeral Home is serving the family.
