Jill C. Wildenberg

Jill Christine Wildenberg, age 80, of Sturgeon Bay, WI passed away on April 25, 2022. She was born January 9, 1942, to the late Stanley and Elsie Kreuter in Neenah, WI.
 

Jill was blessed with a loving family. She married Michael Wildenberg on March 3, 1962, at St. Margaret Mary’s Church in Neenah, WI. Jill was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was unselfish to a fault, often neglecting herself for the well being of others.
 

She valued loyalty, honesty and authenticity and exhibited these tenants in her life. She was an avid historian and spent many years collecting and archiving her family’s genealogy. She enjoyed traveling around Europe with her husband to experience and research many of her ancestral locations. Her personal interests ran the creative gamut.
She had an amazing skill for design, sewing, quilting, crocheting and decorating that would rival any professional. She was one of a kind and will be desperately missed.
 

Jill is survived by her husband, Michael; her sons Paul (Lisa), Steven (Michelle); four grandchildren: Joe (Molly), Elizabeth (Kyle), Emily (JJ) and Ryan; sister Judy Koehnke; six great-grandchildren; and many cherished sisters-in-law, brother’s in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her sister Janice Laflin.
 

A service and celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (620 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, WI 54136) with Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be designated in memory of Jill C.
