Jack McDonald Obituary

Jack Harold McDonald, 80, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on Jan. 13, 2022, at Aurora Bay Care Center in Green Bay with his family by his side.  He was born Oct. 1, 1941, in Wausau to Harold “Mac” and Susan (Mayer) McDonald.  On Dec. 1, 1962, he married Paulette Marie Gotchy in Knowlton, Wisconsin.

Jack enjoyed golfing, camping, deer hunting and walking at least 5 miles a day. He also enjoyed time spent with his friends at the Greystone.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Renee (Nick Wauters) Walker, Green Bay, and Michelle (Paul Weber) McDonald, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 4 grandchildren, Cassandra (Mike) DeBauche, Jeffrey Grovogel, Jason McDonald, Katie (Kyle) Walker-Hoosier, 5 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Harper, Lennox, Emerson, and Raelynn; 3 siblings, Connie Hume, Marge (Frank) Morris, and Glen (Alice) McDonald; 2 sisters-in-law, Paulette McDonald and Judith McDonald.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Thelma Gotchy; siblings, Rodney McDonald, Mary (Patrick) Geier, Patrick McDonald, Thomas McDonald; brother-in-law, John Hume.
