Gary Michael Heise, 67, of Sturgeon Bay perished in the fire at Butch’s Bar on February 24, 2022.  He was born on December 18, 1954, in Door County to Pearl Heise.  Gary grew up in Liberty Grove and attended Gibraltar High School.  For 26 years he was a dedicated employee at the Sunshine House in Sturgeon Bay.

Survivors include cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother Pearl Jeanette Heise, 2 aunts, Eleanor Zeisler and Christine Derramo; and uncle Theodore Heise.

Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Forbes Funeral Home.  Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. at the funeral Home until time of services.  Memorials may be directed to the Sunshine House in his name.  On-line condolences may be offered at www. forbesfuneralhome.com
