Frederick William Burner, 23, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on May 9, 2021 at his home. He was born June 7, 1997 in Germany to David and Christine (Leis) Burner.
Frederick was a graduate of Southern Door High School where he enjoyed playing in the band. After high school, he went to work for Econo-Foods and later for Target. Recently, he was concentrating on work as an author because of his passion and talent for writing.
Frederick loved campfires with family and friends during the summertime. He also loved his cat “Frost” who was his constant companion. Frederick had an interest in wolves and was known as Dire Wolf in the gaming world. He will always be remembered as a sensitive and “good hearted soul” who consistently put other people’s needs before his own.
Survivors include his mother Christine Burner, Sturgeon Bay; father David Burner, Fond du Lac; brother Erick Burner, Fond du Lac; maternal grandmother Waltraud Leis, Germany; aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friend Kevin Lee.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Barbara and Charlie Bianco and his maternal grandfather Dieter Leis.
A public memorial service will be conducted at Forbes Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Friday May 21, 2021. A time of visitation will precede the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Online condolences may be offered at www.forbesfuneralhome.com
