Duane John Struck, 82, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home on June 5, 2025. He was born July 17, 1942, in Nasewaupee to Oscar and Grace (LaViolette) Struck. On May 15, 1982, he married Lois (Nell) Weckler at Salem Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on June 1, 1986.
Duane served in the U. S. Airforce and was stationed in Hawaii. He was a longtime member of Salem Lutheran Church. In his early years, Duane raced stock cars. He enjoyed working in his yard and taking walks in the woods.
He is survived by 2 stepchildren, Randy (Andra) Weckler, Forestville and Carrie (Jason) VanSchoiak, Luxemburg; 8 step-grandchildren: Zandalee (Josh), Tiona, Garren, Kyden, Aydrin, Chayton, Jeverick, and Branden (Jordan); 6 step-great grandchildren, Zayne, Ardyn, Malyk, Koen, Liam and Levi; 4 sisters: Marie, Patsy, Dawn, and Mona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, step-grandson, Derek, brother, Oscar, sister, Irene and special friend, Delores.
All friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Salem Lutheran Church with Rev. Tod Vertz officiating. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
