Donna Jean Sacotte

Donna Jean Sacotte, 76, of Sturgeon Bay passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay on April 20, 2023.  She was born September 2, 1946, in Gardner to Henry and Jane (Fengler) Vogel.  She married Colin Joseph Sacotte on February 20, 1965, at Holy Name of Mary Church, Maplewood.

Donna enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with the “Moped Ladies”.  She especially enjoyed years of motorcycling around the country and wintering in Alabama.

Survivors include her husband, Colin; son, Scott (Amy) Sacotte, Sturgeon Bay; granddaughter, Courtney (fiancé, Matthew Kinjerski) Sacotte, Brussels; siblings, Lynn Marcussen, Dennis Vogel, Leon (Cathy) Vogel, Terry (Kim) Vogel; sister-in-law, Candice Birmingham; and mother-in-law, Arbutus Sacotte; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Carren Sacotte; brother-in-law, Don “Spike” Birmingham; and father-in-law Ellsworth Sacotte.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday April 29, 2023, at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service.  Forbes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
