Christopher Wade Swafford, 51, of Sturgeon Bay died on Jan. 28, 2020. He was born June 13, 1968 in Missouri to Raymond and Rosemary (Skiles) Swarfford. On Sept. 12, 2015, he married Sylvia Evans in Georgia. Despite being disabled most of his life, Chris was able to work as a volunteer fire fighter for a number of years.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia, 4 children, Morgan, Courtney, Crystal, and Christopher Swafford; 6 grandchildren; 3 half-brothers, Tom (Debbie) Sveistrup, Michael Cobb and Jim Cobb.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Joseph Hardy.
