Carl Russell Johnson IV “Rusty”, 61, of Sturgeon Bay passed away on Jan. 31, 2023.  He was born May 8, 1961, in Joliet, Illinois to Carl Russell Johnson III and Judith Kay Eich.

Rusty graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1979 and then attended Drake University in Iowa where he earned a BSBA in finance.  During his life, he worked as a financial consultant in numerous capacities. He was currently working at Hatco Corporation in Sturgeon Bay.

Survivors include his two sons, Carl Russell Johnson V “Jeep” (wife Cristal), Alex William Johnson, all of Carlsbad, CA; mother Judy Herlache, Jacksonport; two brothers and a sister, Craig Johnson, Sturgeon Bay; Julie (Paul) Halgren, Plymouth, MN; Curt (Chandall) Johnson, Sturgeon Bay; two nieces, Kristen Johnson and Emily Halgren; 2 nephews Grant Halgren and Colt Johnson; two great-nephews, Hayden and Silas.

He was preceded in death by his father and nephew Cody Johnson.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday April 1, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Baileys Harbor.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
