Aric Ryan Weber Obituary
Aric Ryan Weber, 48, of Nasewaupee passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 22, 2024. Aric was the son of Ron and Marie Weber. He was a husband, a father, a brother, and uncle and a friend to many.
Aric graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1994 and went on to earn his associates degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and was proud to become a registered land surveyor for the State of Wisconsin. He worked for Baudhuin Incorporated which became Baudhuin Surveying and Engineering. Eventually the company was purchased by Stantec.
On July 31, 2004, he married Jennifer Paye and together they worked to build their home and eventually welcome their only son, Grant, to the family. Aric also decided at that same time to become a volunteer firefighter and proudly served, first, the Southern Door Fire Department and, more recently, along with Grant, Nasewaupee Fire and Rescue. Together Aric, Jen and Grant lived and enjoyed an adventurous, outdoor life of hunting, boating, and fishing. Aric loved hunting (especially deer camp) and fishing above all else and this was especially true when he was able to do both with Grant.
Aric was an enormously proud dad, a hard worker and a jack of all trades. His family and friends were able to depend upon him to help with all sorts of problems and projects. He was known for his cutting sense of humor, his unflappable memory, being a fantastic cook, loving a good game of Cribbage or Sheepshead and having just the right tool for any job. He passed each and every one of these traits onto his son.
He will forever be missed by his wife, Jen, and son, Grant, along with his mother, Marie Weber, sister, Beth (Mark) Chisholm, niece and nephew, Samantha (Drae) Rogers, and Jacob Moeller. He is also survived by his in-laws, Daniel and Jean Paye, grandmother, Beverly Paye, Eric and Gavin Paye, all of New Franken.
Aric was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Weber, and grandparents, Allen and Dorothy Weber and Thomas and Sophie Larson.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Corpus Christi in Sturgeon Bay. Visitation starts at 9:30 am until time of Mass at 11:30. In lieu of flowers, Jen and Grant have set up a memorial in Aric’s name.
