Obituary

Antone “Tony” Weckler, 90, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on March 3, 2023.  He was born July 27, 1932 in Sturgeon Bay to Clarence and Cebell (Krause) Weckler and lived all of his life in Sturgeon Bay.

Tony was very mechanically inclined and was always tinkering on something in his garage.  He enjoyed working on stock cars and attending the local races.  He also enjoyed meals and visiting with others at the Morning Glory Restaurant.

He is survived by four children, Toby (Bonnie) Weckler, Bobbie (Chuck) Moravec, Scott (Amy) Weckler, and Bill (Kim) Weckler, all of Sturgeon Bay; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother Sherwood (Ruth) Weckler, sister Carol Jean (Ron) Anholt, and sister-in-law Roxanne Weckler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Sherwin, Roger, Darrel, Evelyn (Arwin) Dettman, Shirley (Norbert) Kinjerski, Clarence Jr., Orville, Sandra Lee, and Isabelle Kaye.

According to Tony’s wishes no services will be conducted.  Burial will be at Bayside Cemetery and Forbes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
