Albert G. Wagner Obituary

Albert George Wagner, 90, of Sturgeon Bay passed away at his home in the Town of Nasewaupee on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. He was born on October 17, 1934, in Sturgeon Bay to Albert and Ethel (Alberts) Wagner.  Albert served his country in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Germany right after World War II.   On June 1, 1957, he married Joyce Ditewig in Missouri; she preceded him in death on August 26, 2012.

Albert worked for Sturgeon Bay Sand and Gravel and Roen Salvage as a Crane operator for many years.  He also worked as a commercial fisherman for a while.  He enjoyed woodworking, working on lawnmowers, fishing and going out to eat, especially at the Morning Glory Restaurant.  Albert was a very social person and always enjoyed visiting with others.  He was also a very determined handy man who took pride in fixing things that other people had given up on.

Survivors include his son Todd (Jennifer) Wagner; three grandchildren, Michael, Mathew and Lucas Wagner; one great granddaughter Addison; brother Terry (Diane) Wagner; nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sisters, Jeanette (Erv) Franda and Donna (Vic) Bosman.
