Josephine "Jody" Brett

Josephine “Jody” Frances Brett, 73, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at her home on April 16, 2018.  She was born July 31, 1944 in Harbor Beach, MI to William and Grace (Laskey) White.

On July 29, 1963 she married William Brett in Howell, MI. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2015.  During her life, she enjoyed a variety of activities and pass times with her husband.  She loved living in Door County, spending time outdoors, and reading.

Survivors include her three children, Robin (Scott) Franda and Jon Brett, all of Sturgeon Bay; Kristina (Tiffany) Brett-Buckman, Galesburg, IL; five grandchildren, Matthew Franda, Zachary (Nikki) Franda; Quinn, Drew and Brock Anderson; a great-granddaughter, Talia Tangney; two brothers, Bill White, Harbor Beach, MI; John (Laurie) White, Bad Axe, MI; a sister Barbara (John) Ayotte, Harbor Beach, MI.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A Time of Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay.  Memorials may be directed to DoorCANcer Inc.  On line condolences may be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com
