Clarence Roy Destree, 90, of Luxemburg, passed away at his home in the Town of Union on May 30, 2017.  He was born on March 18, 1927 to John and Clemintine (Englebert) Destree.  On May 22, 1946 he married Marion Parins at Namur, she preceded him in death on October 1, 2013.  They live and farmed in the Town of Union for many years.

Clarence was a wonderful caretaker for the majority of his life.  He was an amazing story teller who always had a great smile on face.  Clarence enjoyed farming, friends, trips to the casino, fishing, and traveling, but especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include his three children, Craig (Claire) Destree, Namur; Jeff Destree, Green Bay; and Keith (Victoria) Destree, Namur; 13 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, a son-in-law Lyle Krueger, Little Sturgeon; a sister-in-law Mildred Destree, Namur.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marion; two sons, Tom and Perry; a daughter Deanna Krueger; a granddaughter, two brothers, Bill (Josie) Destree and Joe Destree; two sisters, Mae and Emily (Don) Berger; one nephew, Lyle Leroy.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Francis & St. Mary Parish, Brussels, the Rev. Anthony Birdsall officiating.  Entombment will be in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.  Friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church.
