Michael “Mike” Naese, 39, of Sun Prairie passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2016 at the University Hospital in Madison after an illness.  He was born July 10, 1976 in Sturgeon Bay to LaRay and Patricia (Lopez) Naese.

Mike attended Southern Door High School and was currently working as Operations Manager at Amerhart Lumber in Sun Prairie. 

Mike loved collecting and working on Massey Harris Tractors with his family.  He was an avid Packer fan and also enjoyed country music, eating side pork around the campfire, and spending time with many friends and family.  Michael looked forward to hosting the fireworks display each year with his brother on the 4th of July.

Survivors include his parents Ray and Pat Naese, Sturgeon Bay; daughter Trinity Naese and her  mother Shannon Naese, Green Bay; sister Karlene Fleming, Sturgeon Bay, and a brother Eric (Michelle) Naese, Sturgeon Bay; two nephews, Andrew and Austin Fleming, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Cynthia Naese, Ruby and Julius Lopez and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Holy Name of Mary Church, Maplewood.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church until time of services.  A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
