James Joseph Baudhuin, 81, of Namur, passed away at his home on December 26, 2017. He was born May 23, 1936, in Namur to Julius and Hazel (Renier) Baudhuin. In May of 1995, he married Deloris (Jadin) LaCrosse in Namur; she preceded him in death on March 8, 2016.
Jim worked at Schreiber’s Food in Green Bay for 42 years and also farmed in Union for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting up in northern Wisconsin, and bowling with his brother on numerous championship teams. Jim also enjoyed watching all kinds of sports, especially the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers.
Survivors include one sister, Jeannie (Jim) Wery, Duvall; one brother, Reggie (Nikki) Baudhuin, Namur; four nephews, Mike Wery, Kevin Wery, Jamie Wery (Lonnie), and Ryan (Jodi) Wery; one niece, Wanda (friend, Chuck); great-nieces and nephews, Melissa (Chris) Joppe, Nicole (Santosh) Tumkier, Ashley and Lexi Wery, Jackson and Austin Wery; four step-children, Karen (Joe) Adams, Boyceville, WI; Mike LaCrosse, Algoma; Jeff (fiancé, Kathy Ellenbecker) LaCrosse, Appleton; Vicki (fiancé, Mike Waedekin) Beck, Mukwonago, WI; step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife and a step-son, Rick LaCrosse.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels with Rev. Edward Looney officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of service.
