Henry Robert King, 100, passed away at Door County Medical Center Skilled Nursing on March 22, 2018. He was born August 29, 1917, in Green Bay to Robert and Margaret (Wolf) King. On July 19, 1941, he married Eva Marquardt in Green Bay, she preceded him in death on January 30, 2012.
Henry was a Draftsman at R.A. Stern for many years. He loved golf, swimming, model ship building, sailing, bowling and carpentry.
Survivors include his four children, Wayne (Barbara) King, New Mexico; Keith (Sherry) King, Louisville, KY; Linda (Bill Hammersley) Sealey, Lena; Bruce (Beth Schnorr) King, Fox Crossing; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Betty) King, Milwaukee; a sister, Janice (Arnie) Van Pay, Seattle, WA; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Tilkens, Green Bay; Rita Van Iten, Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Eva; two sisters, Doris (Sam) Karsten and Betty (Chuck) Gribble; six brothers-in-law, Norbert Marquardt, Fr. Donald Marquardt, Richard Marquardt, James (Peggy) Marquardt, Jean (Richard) Rocque; son-in-law Larry Sealey.
Memorial Services will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Robert Stegmann officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call at the church after 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
