Gerald M. Hunt

Gerald Milton Hunt, 71, of Brussels, passed away on Feb. 28, 2018 at Anna’s Health Care in Sturgeon Bay.  He was born Dec. 29, 1946 in Sturgeon Bay to Robert and Lois (Petersilka) Hunt.

Gerald worked as a foreman for many years in the glass manufacturing business in Massachusetts.  Most recently Gerry worked at Northland Steel Co. from 1999 until his retirement.  He was a good electrician and loved cars, especially Cadillacs and Pontiacs.   He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by 3 children, Jackie Richie, Jason Hunt, and Lisa Hunt all of Massachusetts; 3 grandchildren, 3 brothers, Tom (Cheryl) Hunt, Brussels; Steve Hunt, Milford, Massachusetts; and Anthony (Katie) Hunt, Green Bay; 1 sister Paula Hunt, Milford, Massachusetts; and special friend and caretaker, Marge Weiss.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday March 17, 2018, at the Forbes Funeral Home with Deacon Mark Hibbs officiating.  Inurnment will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of services at the funeral home on Saturday.
