Vernelle was a wonderful person and will be sadly missed by her students. We attended the Friends Church and Vernelle was one of the Sunday School Teachers; Mariah, Jedediah and Amanda have wonderful memories. Thank you Vernelle.

Vernelle was a role model for Teachers, in School and at Church. Mariah, Jedediah and Amanda were her students while attending Friends church. She will be missed, yet will be remembered. Thank you Vernelle. You will be missed at the Old Rugged Cross; Friends Church. God Bless.

To family and friends of Vernelle,
My sympathy and prayers to each of you.
She was one of my teachers at Gibraltar High School in the 50's. Always quiet and reserved. It was a pleasure to see her in Sturgeon Bay in later years.

Vernelle was one of the sweetest, most gentle people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was my "business education" teacher at Gibraltar - I loved her then and I love her still. As an adult I visited with her and always enjoyed those visits. She will always have a very special place in my heart.

Vernelle was such a sweet, loving, caring and brilliant person. We were blessed with her friendship. She was very special to us, and we miss her already. She is now in her heavenly home, but she will always have a special place in our hearts.

Vernelle was somebody I remember visiting as a kid when my parents, Ken and Lois Soule would visit her and Seth near Sturgeon Bay.
Later, as an adult, I would often stop by and talk with her.
She was very polite and soft spoken. A very strong supporter of the Friends Church.
She will be missed.
With sympathies,
Gary K. Soule (cousin)
