Stanley Fritschler, 84, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on Aug. 1, 2009 at Door County Memorial Hospital. He was born on Sept. 19, 1924 in Sturgeon Bay to Harold and Ida (Miller) Fritschler. On Sept. 19, 1959 he married June Nelson in Sturgeon Bay. Stan worked for the Algoma Plywood Company for 24 years and also for Peterson Builders Inc. for 24 years. He enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, and camping with his wife. Stan and June were long time and faithful members of Bay View Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, June; Stan and June’s son, John (Sue) Fritschler and their children, Anna and Jacob; Stan’s sons, Jim and Tom Fritschler and their families.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, Aug. 5 at Bay View Lutheran Church with the Rev. Timothy Malek officiating. Burial will be in Hainesville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. |
