Ruth Marie Graf, 88, of Sturgeon Bay passed away on December 18, 2009 at the Door County Memorial Hospital in the Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born on August 22, 1921 in Whitefish Bay to Henry and Mary (Jeanquin) Lauscher. In 1940, Ruth married Arthur Graf in Institute; he preceded her in death on May 14, 1976. Ruth was a long time member of the Christian Mothers and the Homemakers Club.
Survivors include six children, Mary (Dennis) Bley, West Jacksonport, Paul (Marilyn) Graf, Sturgeon Bay, Jean (Gerald) Granius, Brussels, Jim (Wendy) Graf, Hustiford, Bill Graf, Sturgeon Bay, Dorothy (David) Michiels, Sturgeon Bay; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Helen Lauscher, Milwaukee, Ruby Graf, Sturgeon Bay. Ruth was preceded in death by one son, Norman Graf; four brothers, Howard, Stanley, Milton, and Jim Lauscher.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Rev. Robert Konkol OFM officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home and 10:00 AM Monday, until time of services. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday. |
