Ruby Alvina Bebo, 88, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away in Milwaukee on Aug. 29, 2009. She was born in Baileys Harbor on July 17, 1921 to Vernon and Henrietta (Werkheiser) Sorenson. She married Eugene W. Bebo in Milwaukee on Jan. 31, 1940. Ruby and her husband lived in Milwaukee for 25 years and then retired to Door County. Her husband preceded her in death on March 22, 2004. Survivors include 2 children, Sharon (Robert) Rodziczak, Rhinelander, and Bill (Gale) Bebo, Sturgeon Bay; 6 grandchildren, Karen (Pete) Cronin, Brian (Pat) St. Louis, Robert (Carol) St. Louis, Laurie (Nick) Welter, Brett Bebo, and Wade (Kathleen) Bebo; 12 great-grandchildren, Justin, Clinton, Austin, Ricky, Justin, Jonah, Wylie, Brittany, Brooke, Garrett, Logan, and Dylan; 2 great- great-grandchildren, Zanabel and Isabel; a brother, Douglas (Jan) Sorenson, Cedarburg; a brother-in-law, Arthur Merrell, Egg Harbor; and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Hubrich, Muskego. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Robert Sorenson, and a sister, Eleanor Merrell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at the Forbes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bayside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 PM until the time of services. |
