Cliff George Mauck, 95, of Sturgeon Bay died at Golden Living Center- Dorchester on May 17, 2009. He was born August 25, 1913 in Vashon Island, Washington to George and Ethel Mauck. On November 13, 1974 he married Jeanette Charnetski in Nevada. Cliff was the General Manager of Martinolich Shipyard in Kodiak, Alaska. He retired from Bay Shipbuilding and then was caretaker for Kress Harbor Point Properties in Egg Harbor. Cliff was a member of Boilermakers Union 449 and Corpus Christi Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; brothers-in-law, Joseph Charnetski, Egg Harbor; Donald (Helen) Charnetski, Muskego; Ken (Bea) Charnetski, Sister Bay; Eugene (Sharon) Charnetski, Fish Creek; sisters-in-law, Verna Tanck, Baileys Harbor; Esther Birnschein, Egg Harbor; Dorothy Balistreri, Greenfield; Joan Peterson, Egg Harbor. Many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Corpus Christi Church, Sturgeon Bay with the Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating. Burial in the St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Baileys Harbor. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimers Fund in his memory. |
