John Breider, 82, of Sturgeon Bay died at Door County Memorial Hospital on January 26, 2009. He was born December 8, 1926 in Chicago to John and Emma (Getz) Breider. John was a systems analyst for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad Company for many years. On February 2, 1952 he married Evelyn Johnsen. John loved working with stained glass and enjoyed making the stained glass windows on the bell tower at Hainesville Lutheran Church.
Suvivors include his wife, Evelyn; four children, Paul (Pamela) Breider, Chicago; Barbara Foster, Wheeling, IL; John (Tammy) Breider, Tea, South Dakota; Joanne Adlon, Wheeling, IL; nine grandchildren: Brian, Janet (Kevin), Jeffrey, Tiffany, Elizabeth, Kyle, Kimberly, Gregory and Robert.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Harold and a sister, Elizabeth.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Hainesville Lutheran Church, the Rev. Mike Zolnosky officiating. Burial in Hainesville Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church until time of services. Memorials may be directed to Hainesville Lutheran Church (PO Box 259, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). |
