James Louis Jadin 80, Sturgeon Bay passed away March 30, 2009 surrounded by his family at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1928 in Brussels to Moses and Esther (LeRoy) Jadin. In 1945 James married Marie Jeanquart, who preceded him in death on August 26, 1969. On September 14, 1971 he married Annabelle Rankin. James was a farmer and worked for Mark Schlise, and was the head of Maintenance in the Southern Door School District for many years. In recent years he enjoyed working and driving for Bill Overbeck.
Survivors include his wife: Annabelle; two children: Tom (Mary) Jadin, Shiocton; Jeanette (Dan) Rass, Brussels; two stepsons: Larry (Bonnie) Rankin, Sturgeon Bay; Rick (Kathy) Rankin, Sturgeon Bay; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother: Ervin (Dorraine) Jadin, Brussels. James is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; one infant daughter: Mary; one infant granddaughter: Maria; one brother: Ted Jadin; one stepdaughter: Susan Malcore.
Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. April 3rd at the Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood. Rev. Robert Konkol OFM officiating. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Brussels. Visitation will be Thursday April 2nd from 4-8 PM at the Forbes Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM Friday at the church until the time of services. A prayer service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. |
