Dennis Norbert Alberts, 82, Forestville died at his residence on February 3, 2009. He was born July 24, 1926 in the town of Gardner to Emil and Charlotte (Corbisier) Alberts. Dennis served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. On November 6, 1948 he married Audrey Miller at Forest Lutheran Church. He worked at the Milwaukee Shoe Factory for a number of years. Dennis was a member of Tanum-Forest Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #372 of Forestville and Door-Kewaunee County Dart Ball League. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, playing cards and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary (Kathleen) Alberts, Forestville; David (Anne) Alberts, Sister Bay; six grandchildren: Jamie (Amy), Ben, Jordan, Timothy, Emma and Olivia; four great grandchildren: Jeffrey, Allison, Ashley and Marcus; two sisters, Marge Anschutz, Gardner; Marie (Pete) Peters, Maplewood; a brother, Emil (Yvonne) Alberts, Brussels; He was preceded in death by four brothers, Gordon, Myron, Morris, Julius, and a sister, Edith Kaye. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2009 at Tanum-Forest Lutheran Church, the Rev. Philip Peterson officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Forbes Funeral Home and then after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church until time of services. |
