Dale E. “Oscar” Lardinois, 55, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at his home on January 1, 2010. He was born on September 11, 1954 in Sturgeon Bay to Norman “Rusty” and Eileen (Miller) Lardinois. On September 12, 1981 Dale married Peggy Bretl in Maplewood. He worked at Palmer Johnsons for 35 years and was well known for his skill and craftsmanship. Oscar loved to shoot trap, hunting, fishing, boating and riding his Harley Davidson. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; one daughter, Allison, Sturgeon Bay; his parents, Norman “Rusty” and Eileen Lardinois, Sturgeon Bay; two brothers and four sisters, Kevin (Irene) Lardinois, Hurley, Kay (Ted) Brauer, Sturgeon Bay, Pam (Mark) Bretl, Sturgeon Bay, Dean Lardinois, Sturgeon Bay, Jane (Don) Mallien, Sturgeon Bay, Lori Lardinois, Green Bay; mother-in-law, June Bretl, Maplewood, in-laws, Mary (Lee) Ellison, Forestville, Mark (Pam) Bretl, Sturgeon Bay, Mike (Lynn) Bretl, Sturgeon Bay; and many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Abbie; infant sister, Ronnie Marie; and his father-in-law, Celet Bretl. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM, Monday, January 4, at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. Funeral services will conducted at 8:00 PM that evening by Rev. Anthony Birdsall. Private burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in his name. |
