Celine Crozier

 
 

      Celine Crozier, 55, Sturgeon Bay died at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay on May 21, 2009.  She was born May 29, 1953 in Elmhurst, IL to Arthur and Winifred (Bauschen) Reis.Celine came to her beloved Door County for the first time at the age of 6 weeks old.  She spent every summer of her life there.Her family’s first cabins were on Lake Forest Park Drive and then the year she turned 10, they moved down to Glidden Drive.  In 1978 she met the Love of her life Donnie Ray Crozier, in Baileys Harbor, and they were married the following July in 1979.  After caring for her parents in Florida for 12 years they moved to Door County permanently.  She worked for 9 years at the Door County Candle Company until they closed in December of 2004. Celine loved being a good aunt and the job of being Donnie’s agent.  She enjoyed writing notes and cards to many people even after she mastered the computer.  Celine also liked doing some crafts and talking on the telephone! She was happy with her decision to join Hainesville Lutheran Church and it’s wonderful people.
    
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Donnie Ray Crozier; three brothers, Paul (Beth) Reis, Wheaton, IL; Daniel (Cheryl) Reis, Geneva, IL; David (Danette) Reis, Tioga Center, NY; her favorite sister, Gretchen (Gary Weber-Wiley) Reis, Tomah; Sister in law, Linda (Steve) Bast, Curtice, Ohio; Dear Nieces, Sara (Tim) Christian, Kendra Rose (Dan) Segal, Rose Weber, Nicole Bast, Niki Weber, Katie Reis; Dear Nephews, Mark (Marie) Reis; Michael (Reba) Rose; Joshua Reis, Nick (Brandy) Bast; four great nieces; three great Nephews; and best friend of more than 50 years, Peggy Lindstrom.She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law and one sister-in-law:Darla K. Crozier.
     A memorial tribute will be conducted during regular worship services at Hainesville Lutheran Church on Sunday May 24, 2009 at 9:30 AM.  A time of fellowship and luncheon will immediately follow the service. There will also be a celebration of life held at St. Paul U.C.C. in Oak Harbor, Ohio on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to National Diabetes Foundation.
