Beulah Mary Dart, 93, of Sturgeon Bay passed away on August 21, 2009 at the Door County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 3, 1916 in Gardner to Desire and Edith (Delsipee) Sacotte. On July 31, 1934 she married Julius Dart in Brussels. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1986. Beulah farmed in the town of Gardner for many years with her husband. She also had worked for Doerr Electric for seven years. Beulah enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and working in her apple orchard. Survivors include two children; Bonnie (Robert) Boulanger, Luxemburg, Glenn (Theresa) Dart, Sturgeon Bay; daughter-in-law, Carol Dart, Sturgeon Bay; nine grandchildren; Dave (Kris) Dart, Brenda (Al) Reckelberg, Dean (fiancé, Gail) Massart, Jackie (Ian) Bouche, Dennis (Laura) Massart, Jeremy (Olivia) Dart, Justin Dart, Joseph Dart, Jeffery Dart; eleven great-grandchildren; David, Jason, Heather, Alicia, Lisa, Chris, Travis, Austin, Keith, Stephanie, Cassie; two great-great-grandchildren; Hayden and Addison; one sister; Gail Walker, Sturgeon Bay; one sister-in-law; Arbutus Sacotte, Sturgeon Bay. Beulah was preceded in death by her husband Julius; one son, Gerald; one granddaughter, Debbie LaLuzerne; one son-in-law, Dennis Massart; two brothers, Mervin and Ellsworth. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels with Rev. Pius Cotter and Rev. Anthony Birdsall concelebrating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Monday, August 25, at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and after 10:00 AM at the church on Tuesday until the time of services. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home. |
